Michael worked on multiple versions for several years before its release in 2004.

An ensemble of his friends and colleagues collaborated to produce the finished score after Michael’s passing. The group included: The London Metropolitan Orchestra, Stephen Mclaughlin, Christopher Brooks, Andy Brown, Robert Elhai, Ilan Eshkeri, Janice Ginsberg, Julian Kershaw, Steve Mair, Nils Rademacher, Andrew Raiher, Jeff Toyne, Allen Walley, Tom Chicester Clarke and Rupert Christie.
