well, i came upon this site, and i was one of the group's biggest fans! i have all their albums, and just ordered the cd's on amazon. i knew michael wrote musical scores for movies but i didnt realize that marty changed his name to mark snow and wrote x files and stuff.
my favorite songs were the early ones: mr tree, thinking of mary, brandenburg. but i also liked anaconda and many, many more. any fans still out there? |

Hello Mark
I seem to be about the only person left checking periodically on Michael's website, and only now I saw your posting from September. Assuming you wouldn't be looking over the site anymore for answers from "fans", I'm taking the moment to assure you there are plenty of our friends still out there...but they're unfortunately less and less active on Michael's site since 2003, understandably.
Thanks for remembering the band... Keep your eyes open for a possible NYR&RE website at some point...
All best. Dorian |

Happy New Year to all! I know there are alot of us still out there that remember and still listen to NYR&RE. I am still collecting what i can and have been ablet to locate most of the 45's on ebay ,still looking for santiagos recordings of Cliff and Martin songs from the former members album and Dorians solo effort he mentions on this site. but am not giving up yet. I hope that some day there will be an out let on the web devoted to the group and its memebers with links to all former members sites, such as Borzoi etc and or other info. thanks again to Dorian for being willing to share memoies with us all. buy the way i have just tought my 9 year old daughter the song Kamel and she loves it! |
