Hi people!
It is a long time since Michael passed away. It has taken me this long to come back to his world. I knew him very well and just put the reality of what he meant to me out of my mind when he died. I think that many of the well wishers on this forum knew Michael in different ways - some friends some fans etc.... I, like most, knew him in a special and unique way!
I was just coming to the end of a challenging four year course in composition at the Royal Academy of Music when I met him for the first time. I got on well with Michael from the start (he was very into young musicians) and a whole new world of possibilities was opened to me.
I worked with him as a musical assistant from 1997 until about six months before his death. In that time I was lucky enough to be involved with Metallica, Iron Giant, Band Of Brothers and The Jubille concert. These were probably MY highlights. It is not until now that I realise how lucky I was.
If anyone is out there who wants to make contact with me I would be grateful and happy to talk........I think I am ready to discuss the man that has probably shaped my life beyond all others........
