I am very new to Michael Kamen's music, and I have fell in love with his work. He had such a talent that will last forever in the music world. I play in a local Brass Quintet in N.E.Iowa and found myself listening to a soundtrack of "Quintet" on the Canadian Brass website. The score is not yet available for Brass Quintet but it soon will be under the title "Tribute". We anxiously await its realease. It is available for band or orchestra.
In researching this wonderful website, micheals forum I have learned that I have enjoyed many of his works and did not know or realized that he was the composer of several peices of music that I have listened to. Some pieces that my Quintet has played parts of. God Bless his family, may they live glorously through his wonderful music.
